What We Do

Good Leadership like good food and wine requires the right ingredients. We offer Immersive Leadership through Food, Wine and Conversation. We believe that leadership is learned through personal connection with others, through the sharing of ideas and practices which enhance an individual’s leadership abilities. We feel that the best way to do this is through personal engagement, not coursework or tool-kits.

Anthony Bourdain said, “You learn a lot about someone when you share a meal together.” There is so much truth in this statement. We learn a great deal about ourselves during that meal if we are paying attention. We learn about our connection to those around us and how our actions and reactions drive our decisions. We learn about our strengths and weakness, and why they are not mutually exclusive. We learn who we are and what we believe. We learn how we interact with others and where our values lie. If food and the act of sharing it with others can do this, it can teach us to be better than we already are. It can teach us to expand our thoughts, explore new ideas, and share our vision with others. It is the bedrock of creating a leader who is innovative, creative and involved.

Imagine then how over a wonderful glass of Navarro rosé and a fabulous seafood paella you can learn more about who you are in a evening than you can in a weekend of note taking and workshops.

We bring people together who strive to understand how leadership shapes and binds us and offer insight to bring ideas to fruition. We enjoy fabulous food, wine and company along the way.

Whether you work for a global corporation, an NGO, or in the community our Immersive Leadership builds a better leader through food, wine and conversation.

Ultimately, those of us at The Uncorked Mind seeks to expand your concept of what leadership means and how you go about becoming a better leader and human being in the process.
